Lesley A. Wallace
I am an Ottawa-based coach working with women in transition, including their families, whether it's the teen years or looking after the aged - it's all about strengthening the bond or creating one!
My fearless approach to life has followed me through my various degrees, my 20+ years in the corporate world and recently, engaging youth to become the strong leaders they are destined to be.
Having come from an abusive home I have first-hand experience of feeling worthless, "not being good enough", not being understood, not being heard and not feeling wanted. My need to be loved turned into the "disease to please" causing me to lose myself in relationships and overall, lose out on what I wanted for my life.
On my journey to self-discovery, I uncovered profound emotional scars. My internal justice system, the lens by which I see myself and how I show up in this world, was very much holding me back. I was living my life based on others expectations of who I should be and what I should be doing. In all of that, the "me" got lost and one day I found myself looking in the mirror, wondering how my life got this way. Where did I go? Was this all there was?
As I unfolded my thoughts and lay them out I discovered this wonderful thing called, "choice"! It was then that I could begin the healing and move forward. Living my life from my own values, being spontaneous, laughing, smiling, loving, honouring, being that authentic self - I began living my life from this place, a life of joy, a life filled with happiness!
My unique insight allows me to care, nurture, and support my clients and allow them the space to feel completely vulnerable while confronting their own fear.
I'll help you get to the other side - my hand reaches out - grab it! So, take a hold and contact me at coachingwithles@gmail.com.
We can do this - together!
